OK sorry I know it's been a few days since I left Chicago, but I haven't really done anything since then so I should finish this post. For my two days in Chicago the first thing that we did was see the bean and the two fountains, they were both really cool but I had seen more pictures of the bean so I think it was better to see that then the fountains, but the fact that the fountains projected images on them was very cool.
The second day we went to the Museum of sScience and Industry and on an architecture tour. On the tour we looked at a lot of famous buildings like the corn cobs and the Jon Handcock building, pictured above. The museum was awesome. My favorite exibxit was the Myth-Busters exibit. Myth-Busters is a TV show, that I've seen a few times, where they test myths to see whether they are real or not. The exhibit is split into two parts, the do it yourself part and the show. The do it your self part had a bunch of things that you could do on your own like throw a card, dodge a bullet, hang off a cliff, pull the table cloth out from under dishes and more! The show had two parts, one where you would test the reflexes of a volunteer and one were the fastest volunteer would dodge a paint ball.
I volunteered (because my mom forced me to) to go up with two other people and test my reflexes against theirs. They would give us a light or sound signal and then we would push our buzzer, whoever was fastest got to dodge a paint ball... I won. I got a big long coat, goggles, and a riot shield. I had to and try to dodge a paint ball. I was able to dodge it with a .7 second delay between the sound and the paint ball being fired. I got to go up on stage and have fun so I really enjoyed it.
I will post when something happens connor
